‘What price is too high to pay, even for love? When Jace and Clary meet again, Clary is horrified to discover that the demon Lilith’s magic has bound her beloved Jace together with her evil brother Sebastian, and that Jace has become a servant of evil. The Clave is out to destroy Sebastian, but there is no way to harm one boy without destroying the other. As Alec, Magnus, Simon, and Isabelle wheedle and bargain with Seelies, demons, and the merciless Iron Sisters to try to save Jace, Clary plays a dangerous game of her own. The price of losing is not just her own life, but Jace’s soul. She’s willing to do anything for Jace, but can she still trust him? Or is he truly lost?’

I found this book rather interesting, but I will have to be honest, I found it a tad boring at first. I think this is because when Clary was kept up in that secret house that travelled through dimensions with Sebastian and Jace just wasn’t not very interesting for me, there was not enough action or anything and I feel that even though it was needed for the story line it was a tad to long and a bit excessive but the book got interesting when Jace, even for a short time, became himself and was in control of who he was and his emotions through the mark on his body that combined Sebastian and Jace as one, being harmed for a short period of time. This was when the book got really exciting and I felt completely compelled to keep reading this book until the very end. I felt so many emotions in this book, some of them I don’t even know how I would cope with these feelings or situations in real life if they happened to me, even though obviously they wont because this is a fiction  book based on vampires and demons etc 😛

When Jace became in control of himself and was separated from Clary for a short period of time to tell Clary what Sebastian and his ‘other self’ were planning, Jace was going to take him self to the Clave even if it meant that he was going to get killed. Clary couldn’t handle the idea of losing Jace and told Sebastian that Jace was going to run and ruin their plan to destroy the shadow hunter world. This hit me really hard, the way Cassandra Clare the way Jace’s face looked when the girl he is in love with betrayed him just completely hit me in so many ways. Even though she was trying to stop Jace from the possibility of Jace getting himself killed by the clave, I did not think that this was fair of her to take away Jace’s independence and right to make his own decisions about his life.
The other part of the story that made me angry was when Sebastian was forcing himself onto clary, his sister. I was not just angry because they are brother and sister but because he was sexually assaulting her! I hate reading these scenes in books because they make me so angry. now I’m not saying that these scenes shouldn’t been in books, because it is a real problem that happens in real life, the topic just makes me angry like it would a lot of people, especially people that have gone through such a horrible experience.
I was very sad to find out that Alec and Magnus broke up, they were one of my favourite couples! I thought that these two would be able to get through anything! I really hope in Heavenly fire, book 6 of the series that Alec and Magnus get back together!
I rated this book 3 stars on Good Reads I wanted to give it a 3.5 stars but you cant do that on Goodreads. I gave it a 3 stars because I liked reading it but I got a bit bored and it didn’t capture my attention until the last quarter of the book. But that all comes down to personal opinion and what sort of story plots we like in a book. For me I wanted more shadow hunter fighting scenes and more mention of the vampires and the werewolves.
Cassandra has once again created another book in this series that describes the characters in such a realistic capturing way. Cassandra Clare is a brilliant writer!
I cant wait to read the next book in this series!
What are your thoughts on this book series? Have you read it yet? 🙂

Clock work Prince – Book Review

Today I am sharing my thoughts on the second book in the Infernal Device series: Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I’m sorry that it has taken me so long, I’ve been so busy with finishing my current University degree this year and I found out I got into my dream degree for next year, a bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours so now I can finally pursue my love of art, I’ll be majoring in painting, I’m so excited. I’ve been so busy preparing for that on top of it being my favourite time of year! CHRISTMAS!!

So I’m finally sharing my thoughts on the Clockwork Prince, as I finally found time to finish reading the book last night, I wish I had found time to finish it sooner! I absolutely loved this book!! So let me start my review! 🙂

‘Love and lies can corrupt even the purest heart….

In the Magical underworld of Victorian London, Tessa Gray finds her heart drawn more and more to Jem, while her longing for Will continues to unsettle her. Could finding the Magister free Will from his secrets and give Tessa the answers to who she is and what she was born to do?’

Warning: Spoilers ahead!!

Summary:

This second book in the Infernal Device series is about Charlottes fight to stay the head of the institute, however this is found rather difficult with the forces of the Clave plotting against her. Forcing Tessa to be the main target of this whole charade, because Tessa will be out on the streets with no one to defend her, if Charlotte loses the institute, making Tessa an easy target for the Magister, who wants to use her powers. Making Tessa, Will and Jem determined to find out why the Magister wants Tessa. Meanwhile, Charlotte finds out that she has a traitor right under nose.

Tessa, Jem and Will discover that the Magisters want for a war on the Shadowhunters is somewhat of a personal matter. He blames the Shadowhunters for the life tragedy that changed his life. While uncovering the Magisters secrets Will, Jem and Tessa travel to a Yorkshire Manor when Will comes across a clock work demon that warns them that the Magisters knows of their every move, but how? Who is the traitor?

Meanwhile, Tessa find herself drawn to Jem, even though her heart still longs for Will even though every part of her tells her that Will is just going to break her heart again and destroy her! However, she is made more confused when the secrets are revealed on why Will was pushing her away. Making her more confused then ever, but soon coming to a decisions to choose Jem after Jem proposed to her.

Tessa and Jem are yet to tell Charlotte and the rest of the Institute when they discover a major secret that will allow them to keep the Institute, as long as they play this blackmailing secret correctly, allowing more time to find the magister as the clave asked her to do.

My Feelings and Opinions:

I loved this book! It captured me entirely. My favourite scene was when Jem proposed to Tessa. I thought this was absolutely beautiful, I think Jem is my new book boyfriend. I think this scene would have people saying ‘I want a Jem’! This book showed Jem in the most beautiful way possible, he really truly does love Tessa, and everyone deserves to have their Jem! Someone that truly loves them for who they are.

I was very conflicted on the scene of Nate being killed. I felt sorry for Tessa because she lost the only family member she had left even though he was selling her out to the Magister, trying to cause her harm.

I really feel for Tessa, and I hope that she has a happy ending!

I thought Cassandra Clare did an amazing job writing this book, she captured all the emotions beautifully! However, I will have to say that I am all for Tessa and Jem being together but I’m worried that the third book will have Tessa leave Jem. Cassandra Clare has been really good at breaking our hearts a thousand times already in the first two books, I wonder what she has prepared for us in the next book. Cassandra did a wonderful job at writing this love triangle, usually love triangles annoy me, but this one didn’t. I’m still seriously torn. Everyone loves a Will but everyone also loves a Jem. I know that no matter who Tessa actually ends up with in the last book, I’ll be happy but I’ll feel sorry for the one that does not get chosen. This triangle is particularly interesting especially because Will and Jem are parabiti but they had no idea on each others feelings for Tessa, treading on each others hearts without even meaning to.

I’m really excited to read the third book to this series: Clockwork Princess 🙂

Fantastic Beasts Review

Today I am going to do a review on the Fantastic Beast Script by J.K. Rowling. I’m sorry that this is late, I’ve been very busy with the holiday season and finishing my spring Units at University. I read the script and then headed off to the movies to see it on the big screen with some good friends and my partner, and I’ve got to say it was absolutely amazing! I loved reading the script and then going to the movies and knowing that I could recite the words after only reading the script once. So lets start with my review on the script and the movie! 🙂

fantastic-beasts-screenplay-cover
‘Explorer and Magizoologist Newt Scamander has just completed a round-the-globe trip in search of the most rare and unusual magical creatures. Arriving in New York, he intends his stay to be just a brief stopover. However, when Newt’s case is misplaced and some of his fantastic beasts escape into the city, it spells trouble for everyone…’

I would like to start this review by saying that this book was absolutely beautiful.  The pages were decorated beautiful, each part in the book had a beautifully drawn beast that is mentioned in the screenplay. The cover is so original and beautifully decorated. I fell in love with the appearance of this book instantly!

This screenplay is set 50 years before the Harry Potter book series, even having said this, there was a lot of references made that links to the Harry Potter series, Albus Dumbledore was even mentioned and I jumped for joy at the mention of him!
I just want to say that when I watched this at the cinemas, I was hit by nostalgia when the theme song from Harry Potter played, I got all excited!
I was nervous about reading this because I knew it was not going to be dealing with the story of Harry Potter, so I wasn’t sure of it was going to spark my interests, but it really did. After reading the screenplay I had to go watch this at the cinemas and I saw it in 3D, and let me say that this was just absolutely amazing! I wanted to go and see it a second time in 3D because the creatures just jumped out and the screen, and having the creatures be so beautiful and magical making you want to have one yourself it was just amazing!!
th7YC5NFKC.jpg
I’ll have to say, I was so excited to see how the creatures would look in the movie, because they sounded so amazing in the screenplay, I loved the niffler in the screenplay and to see how they made the niffler look in the movie I fell in love with it instantly, the niffler was my favourite creature in this movie! If these actually existed I would be over the moon! Such a cute beautiful creature!
Fantastic-Beasts-Bowtruckle.jpg
I loved this little guy, I thought it was the cutest thing that Newt carried this green little creature around in his pocket. I will admit I almost cried when Newt was pretending to trade him for information.
I can see how this can be made in to four movies and this makes me very happy!! Let’s be serious, who wouldn’t want more from J.K. Rowling when it comes to the wizarding world!
I loved the plot, however I felt there could be more mention of Grindelwald and that there could have been more added to the ending when Grindelwald got caught out. I felt more explanation on who he was could have been given, especially for people who have not read or seen the Harry Potter series before.
I have to say, that I know a lot of people were hesitant to read or see this after reading Cursed Child, but I’ll have to say, just go read it/see it! I doubt you will regret it, especially if you’re a fan of seeing magical creatures and/or of Harry Potter! Its a beautiful movie/screenplay, and deals with so many emotions that you can’t help but feel a connection with the characters!
I’d give this screenplay/movie 5 stars! Definitely watch/read this again! Loved it!!!
What were your thoughts on this? Did you read the screenplay? Watch it at the movies? or both?

Girl Online Going Solo Review

Today I am doing a review on the third book in one of my favourite series that I have been waiting months for: Girl Online! I remember when I finished reading the first two books: Girl Online and Girl Online On tour that I was dying for a third book, but at the point in time Zoe Sugg, also known as Zoella had not released any information about if she was releasing a third book. So when she released the information that in fact she was working on a third book earlier this year I was so excited. I raced down to my store yesterday to pick up this book, because the day had finally arrived, the book I as dying to read was finally released! Girl Online Going Solo.

However, I was not able to finish this book in one day, the way I would have liked, but life got in the way. The joys of being an Adult! However, I finally got to sit down today and read the last 250 pages of this wonderful book. I’m so excited to share my thoughts with you all, I currently can not share my feelings and emotions with my fiancé, the person that has had to hear all my feelings and deal with all my emotions on this series since day 1, as he is currently streaming the new Pokémon Sun and Moon release! So, I thought I would share with you guys, while I am waiting for him to finish streaming for the night, which shouldn’t be too far off as it is currently 11:23pm as I type this out.

Yes, I’ve also been playing the new Pokémon Sun and Moon today too! What can I say, I’m a bit of a ‘nerd’, is that the word people like to describe us wonderful people that love books, games and everything amazing!

Please bear with me while I try to give a short summary of the book and while I try to put my emotions and feelings into words, I find this rather difficult to put my feelings into words online.

There may be a few spoilers, I apologise for this, I will try to keep them to a minimal, but please read at your own discretion! 🙂

Penny’s life is back to normal.

As Penny starts the school year she’s ready to face the world – alone. Noah has gone off the radar after ending his world tour early and no one, including Penny, knows where he is. So when she accepts Megan’s invitation to visit her performing arts school it seems like an opportunity to make some new friends.

Helping everyone else seems to be the right remedy. Elliot needs her friendship more than ever, and she meets Posey – struggling with stage fright and in need of support. But is charming Scottish boy Callum the right kind of distraction? And can Penny truly move on when  Noah’s shadow seems to haunt her round every corner?

Summary:

This third book in the Girl Online series: Going Solo, is about how Penny tries to go back to her normal life, ‘normal’ being how her life was before she started dating the famous hot band guy Noah from New York. After the two breaking up and going their separate ways, Noah finds that the break up for him is harder than what he thought, quitting the world tour and going in hiding to figure out his head and emotions, not telling anyone where he is, not even his grandma and his little sister Bella.

Penny is heartbroken and tries to find ways to distract her self by infesting all her time in to her blog, and her photography as well as helping those around her, especially Elliot, her childhood best friend and her new found friend Posey that she meets while visiting her friend Megan at her New School.

Penny’s life starts to change when she visits Megan one weekend at Megan’s New School: Madame Laplage, a school for drama, musical, and anything creative, even photography. This is when Penny meets a hot Scottish boy Callum, a boy that loves photography as much as she does, however this soon leads to her having a panic attack, having being a sufferer of anxiety, knows she must get away and runs out of the school common room leaving Callum starring after her completely confused. While re-covering from her panic attack sees a girl from across the grass crying, so she walks over and asks if she is okay, little did she know she girl was going to be her new best friend – Posey.

Posey suffering from Stage fright, needs Penny’s help to over come this to perform the lead role in her schools performance. Penny helps by introducing Posey and Megan to Leah Brown, a famous singer. However, this eventually goes drastically wrong, pulling Megan, Posey and Penny apart after one of these girls portrayed her by leaking one of Leahs new songs that are yet to be released yet. Penny finds out who her true friends are.

In the meantime, she finds out that Callum, happens to be the cousin of the couple that are getting married in Scotland. The wedding that Penny’s mum and Noah’s grandmother happening to be catering. Little did Penny know, that while she was dancing with Callum at this wedding, was going to be the time that she got that moment that she had been waiting for, Noah’s return. Leaving Penny feeling confused and an emotional wreck, deciding whether she wants to be with Noah or just be friends?

My feelings and Opinions:

First, I would like to start this off by stating that when I picked up this book yesterday, the first thing I did was read the blurb, this was a bit devastating for me. This was because the blurb gave the impression that Noah and Penny were not going to get back together, making me too worried to read it, but I pushed past this, my heart telling me that for sure Noah and Penny would be back together and everything would be okay again in the world of Girl Online. I’m completely team Pennoah. To me these two people are just absolutely gorgeous together, truly magical. I would be completely devastated if Zoella ended this book with these two not being back together.

When Noah turned up at the Wedding to ask Penny to dance while she was with Callum, I was mixed with some many emotions. I was so sad for Penny because she was so hear broken over losing Noah and was trying so hard to move past it all, so I was all for her meeting new guys but I also wanted Noah to turn up and fix everything. However, I did not expect it to happen while she was on a date with Callum. My heart went out to Penny in this moment, I would not know what to do if I was in her position. However, I was still so happy that Noah was back! It gave me hope that Pennoah would be back together at last!

I really love the friendship that was created between Penny and Elliot, it’s such a beautiful friendship, nothing could ever get between them and it is simply beautiful, you do not seem many of those friendships around. Elliot is such a beautiful character so full of life and emotions and simply makes you feel like you want to protect him and hug him and tell him everything is going to be alright!

I absolutely loved this book! I was sad that it had to end, but I was so happy that I got to read this book and be apart of the Girl Online book community. This book has helped me so much in getting through my own life issues, and has been an inspiring series to read. Especially because Penny has her own blog, and one of the main plots in this series is her blog, I have found it rather inspiring for my own blog. This book series: Girl Online has opening up my mind to many ideas, inspiring me to get back into my passion of art after reading about Penny’s inspirations and dedication to her Photography. It helped me realise that I have missed doing the things I love. The relationship between Noah and Penny also make me feel so grateful and happy for my fiancé, sometimes it’s nice to have that reminder of what you have and to not take that for granted you know? Because I know that I am extremely lucky to have my fiancé, and like everyone, sometimes I forget how lucky I am. This is the type of book that any young person would love. I fell in love with this series straight away and I know I could read this again and again!

I gave this book 5 stars because I loved it so much, there is nothing bad that I can say about this book! Zoella did an amazing job! I hope that she continues to write, even if it is not for Girl Online, but for other books! She has an amazing talent!

Have you read this book? Are you going to? What are your thoughts? 🙂

Mortal Instruments: City of Fallen Angels – Book Review

Another book review! My second book for the month of November! I finished book 4 of the Mortal Instruments: City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare. I loved reading this book! I had many mixed feelings and thoughts on this book. This review may contain a few spoilers, so please read at your own discretion. I will try to keep the spoilers to a minimal, but sometimes spoilers are a must in a book review 🙂

‘Clary is back in New York and life is good: she’s training to be a Shadowhunter and is finally able to call Jace her boyfriend. But nothing comes without a price. When Jace inexplicably begins to pull away from her, Clary is forced to acknowledge that she herself has set in motion a chain of events that could lead to the loss of everything she loves. Even Jace.’

‘Love. Blood. Betrayal. Revenge. The stakes are higher than ever…’

Summary:

This fourth book in the Mortal Instruments series is about the issue of someone quite strong in power is murdering Shadowhunters that use to be apart of Valentines inner circle, which could cause another war for the Shadowhunters. Meanwhile, Simon has told his Mum that he is a Vampire, she did not take the news well however, and Simon has moved out of home to live with his new band member, Kyle, who happens to be a werewolf, hired to help Simon into the transition period of being a Vampire. Simon is also dealing with the issue that someone wants him dead, everywhere he goes people are jumping out of dark ally ways trying to kill him, all because of his misfortune to have the Mark of Cain, a Shadowhunter mark that is slowly ruining his life. He is also dating two girls at once, neither girl knows the other exists and then one night they discover each other and he is left standing single within the blink of an eye.

Clary and Jace are finally happily together, but the happiness is short lived when Jace starts to have dreams about Clary that turn into his worst nightmare; him killing Clary in horrible ways. Instead of him seeking help or talking to Clary he pulls away from her, too scared to tell anyone in fear that his up bringing with Valentine is finally catching up with him. Clary feeling like she’s losing the love of her life tries really hard to hold on to him by delving into the mystery, only to discover that she is the cause of these events that are taking place.

Both issues that Simon, Clary and Jace are dealing with end up in the event that Simon is kidnapped and Clary is also kidnapped by Jace who is being controlled by Lilith. Stirring up an issue that they never thought they would have to deal with again: Sebastian.

My Feelings and opinions:

This book put me through a whirlwind of emotions. The idea of Simon dating two people, made me so angry. I did not understand how this could occur and why he did not try to fix it. I was also quite confused on to why Clary did not push him more to fix this issue of dating two girls at once and thinking that he was going to get away with it if he kept hiding it from them. Clary, being Simon’s best friend should have been more serious with the topic with Simon.

another topic that I was really emotional about was when Jace told Clary about is dreams of killing and hurting her, why did she not freak out? Why did she still feel comfortable being around him in only her undergarments? I would have been freaking and wanting to run out that door if the love on my life told me that they were having dreams of hurting me or killing me. Maybe because in the real world not the fictional world, this is a sign of being a ‘bad’ and an ‘insane’ person.

I felt so sorry for Simon, how his whole life has been turned upside down and that was put into perspective quite a lot in this book. He’s out in the world on his own, trying to look after himself like an adult while still trying to finish school and trying to maintain human and adapting to being a Vampire. Simon is going through a lot in this book but he is still trying to look after everyone around him.

Cassandra Clare did a wonderful job in writing these characters personalities and portraying the struggles that each character would go through in every situation that they are in. This makes it so easily relatable because we all share the same emotions, it is how we are all connected, its so we understand each other; through our emotions.

My Rating:

I give this book 4 stars, I truly recommend reading this series if you like fantasy/young adult books, or if you just want to try something different. This series will give you so many emotions but you will also love it too!

Have you read the Mortal Instruments before? Or are you currently reading it? What are your thoughts on this series? 🙂

3 Day quote Challenge – Day 3

For my final day of the 3 day quote challenge, I have decided to chose my three favourite harry potter inspirational quotes, because come on guys, who doesn’t like a bit of Harry Potter to end their day with?

1.

harry-potter-quotes02

I chose this one, because this one is my ultimate favourite Harry Potter quote apart form the obvious one ‘You’re a Wizard Harry’ – Rubeus Hagrid. I chose the one above by Albus Dumbledore because this is just beautiful and was one of the parts in Harry Potter that got me through my depressive days when I was younger. We all have our depressive days, and I’m sure this quote sang to a lot of people. 🙂

2.

inspirational-harry-potter-6

This quote, has always been completely beautiful to me. Every time I read this I can hear Dumbledore’s voice in my head and it just gives me goose bumps every time. I just love this quote!

3.

inspirational-harry-potter-3

I had to include this one, because this one has been singing to me lately. It is extremely powerful and it is some good advice. It simply blows my mind away!

I would like to tag:

  1. Musings of a Whimsical soul
  2. Reader of the galaxy
  3. Fan girl alert07

Rules:

  • post 3 quotes for 3 days
  • thank the person that nominated you

I’ve really enjoyed participating in this 3 day quote challenge. I would like to thank Josephine once again for tagging me in this! 🙂

The Ultimate Harry Potter Tag!

I saw this amazing tag over on That weird brown girls blog and I just had to scope this one up since we are rivals 😛 Me being a Gryffindor and her being a Slytherin, it became a challenge for me to do this naturally 🙂

So thank you That weird brown girl for sharing this amazing tag with us! 🙂 If you aren’t following her you should definitely go check her blog out and give her a follow!

For those that have not finished reading the Harry Potter series or is currently reading the series for the first time, there may be spoilers!

So here we go, lets have some fun with this one!

1. Favourite book?

This is a hard one, because I like all the books. I think I would have to say that my favourite book would be maybe the third book because this is when Sirius black is introduced and he is one of my favourite characters so I am a bit biased in that area 😛 I think if I was not going to go by Sirius I would chose the Deathly Hollows because I think this book was just beautiful in so many ways but also sad. I do not have the words to explain my feels for this book.

2. Least favourite book?

The Chamber of Secrets, I found this one  little bit boring and irritating because Ginny as a character annoyed me a little bit… oops 😛 sorry everyone.

3. Favourite movie?

My favourite one would have to be The order of the Pheonix because it was just brilliant the way it was made and all the different story lines going on at once. You were never bored but at the same time its my least favourite because Sirius dies and Harry is so heart broken and destroyed at that moment in time.

4. Least favourite movie?

As stated above The Order of the Pheonix, but also The Chamber of Secrets, but this is because my younger brother use to watch it all the time and because Ginny annoyed me as a character in this movie.

5. Favourite quote?

Oh, this is hard, there is so many!!

I’m going to have to share a few! You asked for this guys! 🙂

‘You’re a wizard Harry’ – Rubeus Hagrid.

‘Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, If one only remembers to turn on the light’ – Albus Dumbledore.

‘For in Dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own. Let them swim in the deepest ocean or glide over the highest cloud.’ – Albus Dumbledore.

I keep reading these quotes and I can actually here the characters voices to each quote in my head perfectly! its so amazing! Does anyone else do this?

6. Favourite Weasley?

That’s easy. The Twins. Fred and George.

‘I’m only joking, I am Fred’

7. Favourite female character?

Mrs Weasley

8. Favourite villain?

Bellatrix Lestrange just because the faces she pulls makes me laugh so much. She really is a psycho path, it’s great! Well done to the actress that played this villain.

9. Favourite male character?

Hagrid! I love this guy.

10. Favourite professor?

Professor McGonagall

11. Would you rather a) wash Snape’s hair or b) spend a day listening to Lockhart rant about himself?

OMG who would even chose to do b! That guy annoyed me so much I wanted to smash my TV into pieces! He as so bad in the movie. I would by far chose to wash Snape’s hair!

12. Would you rather duel a) an elated Bellatrix or b) an angry Molly?

Definitely Bellatrix, because Molly is just one of those women you do not mess with, like EVER!!

13. Would you rather travel to Hogwarts using a) the Hogwarts Express or b) a flying car?

Definitely choose the Hogwarts express because hello! its the Hogwarts express and we do not want another incident with the flying car and the whomping willow!

14. Would you rather give a) Voldemort a kiss or b) Umbridge a bubble bath?

Give Umbridge a bubble bath, because I can kill her easily that way by drowning her, feeling her ‘bubble bath’ with acid. I’m not a psychopath I swear!

15. Would you rather fly a) a hippogriff or b) a Firebolt?

A hippogriff because who doesn’t want a beautiful majestic beast that hates Draco 😛

16. Is there a character you felt differently about in the movies?

Dumbledore, because I feel Dumbledore was not displayed correctly in the third movie on wards. I didn’t like the new actor for Dumbledore.

17. Is there a movie you preferred to the book?

I cant believe that this is even a question.

Books are way better!

18. Richard Harris or Michael Gambon as Dumbledore?

Richard Harris, RIP ❤

19. Your top thing that you wanted in the movie that wasn’t in there?

Oh, please don’t make me answer this one 😦

20. If you could remake any of the Harry Potter movies, which would it be?

I really do not know…this is hard…

21. Which house was your first gut feeling you’d be a part of?

Gryffindor all the way

22. Which house were you actually sorted into on Pottermore?

Do you even have to ask? Defs Gryffindor

23. Which class would be your favorite?

Defense against the dark arts 😛

24. Which spell do you think would be most useful to learn?

Defs expect Patronum

25. Which character do you think you’d instantly become friends with?

Ron, because he hates spiders like me 🙂 and he isn’t scared to say what he thinks.

26. If you could own one of the three Hallows, which would it be?

The Invisibility Cloak because then I could get up to all kinds of Mischief, who didn’t wish this was a thing that actually existed when they were a teenager?

27. Is there any aspect of the books you’d want to change?

nope, you cant change anything, however I wish Sirius Black didn’t have to die.

28. Favourite marauder?

Padfoot.

29. If you could bring one character back to life, which would it be?

Sirisus Black or Dobby!!

30. Hallows or Horcruxes?

What’s the point in being scared of dying that much that you have to separate yourself multiple times?… Hallows for the win because at least you will be having fun in life and not fearing it.

I really enjoyed participating in this, it makes me want to go read the book series again because it has been a while since I last read them!

3 Day Quote Challenge – Day 2

Today is day 2 of the 3 Day quote challenge. I’m choosing my 3 quotes from my favourite book series Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead.

1.

240dde366872a79b0a4066125b779f7d.jpgI chose this quote, because this was a very powerful quote to me. It’s very hard letting go of someone you aren’t ready to let go of whether they are dead or alive. I think this speaks to the heart and to anyone that has lost someone close to them in any form.

2.

1ec1320ab4fea5f14cf39d96c534a048.jpgThis quote was said by Adrian, who happens to be one of my favourite characters in the book. I love his sarcasm and wit. I always love a classic so when he said this in the book I always remembered it. I thought it was brilliant and perfect and it was a brilliant way to take on and change the classic ‘roses are red…’ poem! 🙂

3.

6863c998031e6f30b376ec548f136ba0.jpgI love this one, because it seems to explain every TV show these days. It’s that moment when you’re watching a TV show and one of your favourite characters die and then a season later its like ‘why hello I’m back, I didn’t die!’ and you’re sitting there screaming at the TV saying ‘you frigging died! what is this! I just got over the fact you died and now you’re back?!’ and you’re slowly dying because of what that TV show has just done to you. This quote just describes this feeling so well and hits it right on the nail.

So these are my 3 quotes for today (day 2).

I would like to nominate:

  1. Anna
  2. Between Folded Pages
  3. Kate’s Bookish Library
  4. if anyone else would like to participate please do 🙂
